A complex case is one that requires:
- More than one court appearance
- Interrogatories
- Answers to interrogatories
- Depositions
- Demurrers
- Legal Research
- Jury trial preparation
- Jury trial appearance
- And similar activity beyond the basic eviction

| Bankruptcy |

In the event that your tenant files bankruptcy, “Automatic Stay” is immediatley in effect until a “Motion for Relief from Stay” is filed and an order is granted; or the case is dismissed.
This is true even if you already have a Judgment for Possession and a Writ issued. The sheriff will not perform the lockout until the bankruptcy has been dismissed, or until the “Relief from Stay” has been ordered.
These fees include:
- Notice of Motion for Order Granting Relief from Automatic Stay and Notice of Opportunity of Hearing
- Motion for Order Granting Relief from Automatic Stay and Memorandum of Points and Authorities
- Declaration of owner/manager in Support of Motion for Order Granting Relief from Automatic Stay

- Order

- Appearance at the set hearing
* Out of county cases will have an additional cost to include time and mileage for the hearing, and the process server fees for filing the document out of county.
